Bethan is available for harp (pedal and lever), piano and music theory lessons with many years experience in preparing students for ABRSM practical and theory exams and a 100% student pass rate in music examinations. Students may also wish to take Trinity music examinations or simply learn for pleasure! Bethan teaches at her home in Flintshire and lessons can be taken weekly or fortnightly.
With over nine years experience teaching both privately and in schools, Bethan has worked with children of all ages, teenagers and adults both in one-to-one tuition as well as group teaching. She has held teaching positions at Queen Anne's School for girls, Caversham as well as Wrexham Music Service and currently teaches both harp and piano at Rupert House School, Henley-on-Thames, for Flintshire Music Service and for Canolfan Gerdd William Mathias.
As a young musician, having performing opportunities is vital for growth of confidence be it in an informal setting of performing to family and friends or a competition. Bethan frequently organises concerts for her students raising money for charities such as Hope House and Macmillan Cancer Support. Bethan also has experience of preparing students for competitions such as Chester & Wirral Festivals of Performing Arts, local Eisteddfods in North Wales as well as the Urdd Eisteddfod.
